Cleansing and Feeling Good
So it’s day 7 of the cleanse now and everything is still going well. At this point its become a habit and I got into a groove.
Last night we went out to eat with Megan’s mom and step dad for their anniversary, Megan and I both did a great job of staying away from the 3 types of food that you shouldn’t have on the cleanse: fried foods, sugar (except from fruit), and refined – white grains. That’s easy enough since you want to stay away from those most often anyways.
We have, not including today, 3 days left and then we will start the “Lean in 13″ phase of the program. The “Lean in 13″ program is a great opportunity to lose weight or become more lean. During this program you take the Max 3, Slim, ThermoPlus, Catalyst, Muscle Gain, and Meal Replacement Shake. I am pumped for the first day (Sunday) and to get rolling and see and feel the effects for myself.

Days 1-6 of Herbal Cleanse by Andi
So these are my thoughts for the first 6 days of the cleanse. More to come as I finish…
Stats: 29yo F, 5’9″, 165# Fat% 26.7, BMI: 24.7
Day1: Had a 7 am meeting (YUK), took Spark (grape) and thought it tasted great. Did notice I was more alert than I normally am at that time. I was expecting to be really tired that morning because I had a hard workout the night before. Enjoyed the meal replacement shake (chocolate). Did NOT enjoy the fiber drink. I drank it as fast as possible to get it over with then took the Catalyst. Was suprised I didn’t feel more hungry before lunch. I was expecting to be starving.
Day 2: Noticed I slept better than usual last night. Tried the fruit punch Spark and thought it was good but I like the grape better. I did feel jittery afterward, which didn’t happen yesterday. Meal replacement was better because I shook it up instead of stirring so it had less lumps and was smoother. Put off the fiber drink. Drank half and then left it for 10 minutes. Came back and it was the consistancy of pudding, undrinkable. Added more water and drank it but it was still lumpy. Still satified until lunch.
Day 3: Another good night’s sleep. Did not feel jittery after the spark today but I think it was because I waited too long to drink my meal replacement yesterday. I am very sensitive to caffeine. CHUGGED fiber drink and then water. Felt sluggish after lunch but better after I took the catalyst pills.
Day 4: Still sleeping well. Very glad to not have a fiber drink today. Satisfied all the way up to lunch with meal reaplacement and spark, even without the fiber drink. Felt sluggish again after lunch but better after catalyst again.
Day 5: Nothing new/different to note. Did have a headache in the evening but I don’t think its due to the products or cleanse. EMOTIONAL!!
Day 6: Still enjoying morning drinks. Noticed that I am eating less at lunch, or that it is taking less at lunch to get me to a satisfied feeling. Usually doing my meal replacement around 10:00am so that helps. Do have another slight headache. Less sluggish in afternoon.

Day 6
It has been a whirwind here lately, training people and getting them in the best shape of their lives, telling people about ADVOCARE and the amazing products, and trying to get some me and Megan time as well. It’s been nuts.
So after a great weekend and two solid days this week here I am on Day 6 of my 10 Day cleanse. I am not going to lie, day 4 and 5 I felt a lull in my energy, which is to be expected with your body working that hard to rid it of all the crap (literally) that you have in your system. Today however, I feel frickin’ great! My energy is back up, my pee is clear again…too much info? I drink a ton of water on a regular basis and usually I pee clear. The past few days however have not been and today its getting more clear. So what does this have to do with anything? It means the the Herbal Cleanse is taking bad things out of my body through my pee, hence the color.
I have also been RAVENOUS both and all today. I was sitting at home with Megan last night watching The Biggest Loser. We had just finished dinner, I had salmon, rice, broccoli, and a side salad with Red Wine Vinaigrette. I was very full when I was done. I sat there on the couch watching the show and NO MORE THAN 5 MINUTES LATER I was ready to eat again. Now I will admit willingly that I eat often and that I eat a lot, I earn it right! I train hard and have a high metabolism, not to mention I’m 6’4 12″ and weight over 200 pounds…I have a big body to fuel! But I don’t ever remember having my hunger coming roaring back so fast.
This morning I got up, took my Spark and Catalyst, had a great training session, worked out for myself, took my Meal Replacement Shake, showered, took another Spark (it was a killer workout!), and got back to training. Within 15 minutes I had to grab the bag of almonds I keep in my desk. I have almost eaten all of them today. I ran to Wendy’s at 10:30 once I had a break in the action and ordered 2 Mandarin Chicken Salads, they taste great and are very healthy. It’s now 12:51, at 10:45 I started on the first and placed the other in the fridge. At 12:08 I was totally ready to eat AGAIN. So I went to the fridge and got the other salad. This is the first time all day I have felt satisfied and not ready for more.
What do I credit this? Two things, first my system is cleaning out and running at more efficient rate than before meaning I am burning more calories because I can better absorb the nutrients. Two, I have been working out hard and paired with the Catalyst, my body has been rebuilding and repairing muscle at a higher rate allowing me to burn more calories from my workouts.
I love having to eat like this. People think I’m nuts when it comes to this because people still are under the impression that when you are not hungry you are losing weight. Wrong. You want to be hungry often and then eat good foods. You want to be in a position to need energy (food) often so that you can BURN that energy through your system.
I am looking forward to Day 11. I have heard first hand that Day 11 is a day you really feel the difference in the product and in the way it makes you feel and your body work.
Here’s a quick breakdown on how I feel about the products.
Catalyst – I can tell and Megan has said she can see the difference, that I look slimmer and stronger. Catalyst promotes lean muscle mass and strong muscles
Fiber Drink – I don’t mind the drink at all, it is textured and I know some people have a problem with that, but if you shake, swallow, fill with water, shake and swallow, its all good.
Meal Replacement – I have had these before and never been very impressed with the taste, consistency, or nutritional value. ALL of these are great with this. Megan was worried about the taste and she says it taste likes a thick milk shake.
Herbal Cleanse and ProBiotic – I can’t feel a huge difference with these, but I also don’t know what I am to feel. They are easy to swallow (capsule form) and have no taste.
I am loving life right now and excited to keep this going and see where it takes me as well as the others currently on the program!

Cleansing!
I am now on day 6 of the herbal cleanse. So far, I feel great!
Things that I have encountered:
1. I really don’t like the fiber drink. Some people don’t have a problem with it, but I don’t like the chunky texture of it.
2. Besides the fiber drink, I really enjoy the rest of the products. They are all great tasting! I was a little worried about the meal replacement shake. I wasn’t sure if it would last me through the morning. I was very pleasantly surprised. I have found that it has lasted me all the way through, and I am not hungry waiting for lunch time. Also, it tastes like chocolate milk!! Yum!
3. It is harder to notice a change in yourself as opposed to others. My husband is doing the cleanse as well, and I can already see it working for him.
4. I don’t know that I am super skinny all of the sudden, but I do feel great! I haven’t seen any side effects of the cleanse at all. Only positive things!

Kickin’ Off the Lean in 13 today!

This morning I got up at 4:50 am, got my stuff together and headed into work to meet two clients at 5:30 am. On the way in I had a SLAM. After the session at 6:00 am, I went for an 18:00 minute run up and down the hill across the street, legs are starting to burn…better take my POST-WORKOUT RECOVERY…followed by my MEAL REPLACEMENT DRINK for breakfast, and FIBER DRINK. In a few moments I will take my CATALYST. I am set and ready to go in my cleanse phase so that I have greater success in PHASE 2 – LEAN IN 13.
